Before leaving, check it to ensure you haven't forgotten anything.
Take a bath to freshen up before heading out.
Eat something to energize yourself for the event.
If you're not hungry, try some energy bars to help keep you fuelled for at least 2 hours.
Since you're expected to spend a minimum of 2 hours in the venue, try to travel light if possible.
Getting Here
Venue: Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre
The more affordable option, recommended for those traveling light and willing to walk a distance.
I recommend Moovit for more accurate route planning and navigation.
Do check Moovit alerts and RapidKL's X for any service disruption notices before
heading out.
Touch 'n Go cards are widely accepted.
Consider buying a MyCity 1 or 2-Day Pass if:
- You're travelling using RapidKL services (LRT, MRT, KL Monorail, RapidKL buses), and
- The round trip fare exceeds RM6 (Malaysian) or RM10 (Non-Malaysian)
Pass cost
section if you
already have a Touch 'n Go card.Otherwise, refer to the

Disembark at:
- Hotel Grand Hyatt (~470m)
- Exxon Mobil (~490m)
- KLCC (~540m)
The more convenient yet expensive option, recommended for those traveling in groups and with a lot of items to carry.
Some car parks are hourly-based without a maximum limit, while others have a flat rate, so be sure to check the rates carefully before entering.
Refer to Parkopedia for more info, but it's advisable to check directly with car park management for the latest rates.
Information
Information is readily available on the official website, Instagram, Facebook, Discord.
At the entrance, you will receive a booklet containing the same information as the
website.
Please note that booklets may run out on Day 2, so download the map and catalogue in advance.
Volunteers (identified by their red shirts and tags) are trained to provide only
confirmed
information and will redirect you to the information counter if needed.
Consider asking a few volunteers for more accurate information, or refer to the information counter
instead.
Entry
For OKU and kids (6-12 years) tickets, please ask the volunteers before queuing to avoid disappointment and confusion.
Since 2023, there are two entrances leading to specific areas, so please queue up for the entrance that corresponds to the area you're heading to:
- Entrance A: Exhibitor area
- Entrance B: Stage, Art Market area
There is a trip hazard in front of Entrance B, so please do not run.
Entrances may close from time to time to redirect traffic.
Different entrance arrangements will be in place during rainy weather.
Therefore, please follow the instructions from security and volunteers.
According to the terms and conditions, food and drinks are not
allowed in the venue.
During bag checks, security will hold your food and drinks, which
you can retrieve when exiting.
If you are bringing any props that resemble weapons, please head to the prop check area, which is usually on the left side of the entrance.
At the entrance, you will need to scan your ticket (RFID card) by tapping it
on the machine, like Touch N' Go/bank cards.
The machine will either let you in or deny you.
This may prevent your ticket from being read properly.
Navigation
Please do not leave your belongings unattended.
Sometimes it's easier to navigate using the venue names instead of CF names, as the signage is
large, clear, and
available throughout the venue.
For example, Plenary Hall
instead of Coffy Stage
.
Please do not block the pathways.
Whether you're window shopping or chatting with friends, kindly do so at the side of the
pathway, not in the middle.
According to the terms and conditions, you should not take
photos in the Art Market area and pathways within the event halls.
If you still insist...again, please do it on the side of the pathway.
Refer to the schedules and arrive early to queue for entry to the
stage, panels, and meet-and-greet sessions.
Access is subject to capacity limits and may require additional purchases.
It's better to ask around than to queue in the wrong line (it happens).
Queue Area can be used as a resting area when there is no line, typically after peak hours.
Shopping
By now, you should have an idea of what to buy based on the information from Pre-Event.
If you're still unsure, please go through the catalogue (ask someone for one if you don't have it)
while queuing, and make your decision before it's your turn.
Please don't be the one holding up the queue because you can't make a decision.
Cashless payments are preferred, primarily via e-wallets, followed by credit and debit cards.
- That said, please prepare some cash as a backup.
- If you need internet connectivity and mobile data is unavailable, try connecting to the KLCC
free Wi-Fi -
ConventionCtrFreeWIFI
. - If you are still having payment issues (QR code error, card error, or cash only), consider
asking others in the queue to pay for you, and then transfer the money back to them
- and you might make some new friends along the way!
